• You may vote for a nominee in up to two categories, but the nominee can only win in one category.
• In the event of a tie, you may be contacted to provide us with additional reasons for your vote.
• Winners are selected on the number of votes received in a category.
• Businesses must be located in Kanata, Goulbourn or West Carleton.
• Citizen of the Year
  Must live or work in Kanata, Goulbourn or West Carleton. Please ensure you indicate on the nomination form the geographical area in which you believe the individual resides or works in and reasons why you are nominating the individual.
• You can start to vote and go back to a later date to continue voting for other categories if you wish. One vote per category only.
• Eligible Businesses must be in the Postal Code areas of K2K - K2L- K2M - K2S - K2T - K2V - K2W - K7C - K0A
• Feel free to consult the winners from last year's gala.

Voting Opens January 8th 2010 and closes at midnight on February 14th, 2010.
